Discovery 1989-present

The Land Rover Discovery, Disco for short, was the first new model since the Range Rover was introduced in 1969/70.

The Discovery was built as a medium-large premium SUV. The Series II Discovery was launched in 1998, and was replaced with the Discovery 3/LR3 in 2004. The Discovery 4/LR4 came out in 2009, and was replaced with the 5th generation Discovery in 2017.
